Creando nuestro espacio de trabajo // Creating a Working Space
Tener un area de estudio en el hogar se ha convertido en una excelente opción para quienes se dedican a trabajar desde la casa.
Es un lugar de trabajo, pero a la misma vez nos gusta sentir que es un lugar cómodo en donde podemos trabajar en un ambiente agradable, ordenado y creado desde nuestras necesidades.
Existe infinidad de ideas y estilos para decorarlo... asi como muchas opciones de almacenaje e iluminación para hacer de este un lugar óptimo.
Veamos a continuación algunas ideas para que nos ayudarán a hacer de nuestro espacio el lugar ideal de trabajo.

Antes y después // Before and After
El Antes y el Después... Siempre es interesante y satisfactorio ver los increibles cambios que se pueden realizar en un ambiente, ya sea con grandes o pequeños proyectos.
A continuación les dejo una serie de imágenes que les brindarán una idea de como un ambiente cambia drásticamente de acuerdo a la decoración que le demos. Independientemente del espacio del que disponemos o el estilo que utilizamos, siempre tenemos la oportunidad de crear nuestro propio espacio y a nuestro propio gusto... Elija cada uno el suyo...

El arte de colocar los cuadros // The art of hanging framed art
Colocar los cuadros es todo un arte... si queremos que luzcan bien y en armonia con el ambiente debemos seguir algunas reglas que nos ayudarán.
Algunos puntos importantes serian:

Pero aún hay más, dependiendo de la habitación y sus diferentes características. Por ejemplo, la habitación de la casa donde generalmente colocamos más cuadros es el salón. Dependiendo de las características de este decidiremos la colocación a utilizar.

Otra opción muy usada hoy en dia es colgar los cuadros y espejos en forma de cruz.

Si el salón es pequeño lógicamente queremos darle más amplitud. Para ello, es esencial reducir la cantidad de cuadros. Así mismo, resulta acertado optar por ejemplares grandes que nos den una sensación decorativa en la pared, pero sin recargarla. Otra recomendación importante es decorar la zona del sofá con espejos grandes y marcos amplios, ya que estos dan un aire de holgura.

En el comedor, es aconsejable que los tonos de los marcos vayan acorde a los del color de la mesa y las sillas. De manera que si son blancas, la tonalidad de las molduras debe ser suave.

Recordemos siempre que, cuanto más pequeños sean los cuadros, menor tendrá que ser la distancia entre ellos. Igualmente, cuanto más grandes sean , mayor distancia tendremos que dejar. La razón de esta regla está en la correcta composición del conjunto, es por ello que es muy importante que el ancho de los cuadros no mida más que el espacio que dejamos entre ellos.
We must remember that, the smaller the frames, the shorter the distance between them must be. Likewise, the larger, the longer the distance. Los motivos de las pinturas del cuarto de baño deben ser florales o relacionados con el aseo, tales como bañeras, lavabos, etc.

Algunos puntos importantes serian:
- Los bordes de las pinturas no deben estar muy cercanos ni a los muebles ni al techo.
- No debemos colocar los cuadros siguiendo una linea horizontal de mas de tres unidades o sus alrededores.
- No es buena idea utilizar marcos de estilos diferentes para los cuadros de una misma habitación.
- Ten siempre en cuenta de ser posible no colgar un número impar de pinturas. Intenta siempre que sean pares.
